Privacy.

bearth.io collects as little data as possible: no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no user profiles. Only what you actively submit is processed — plus the minimal technical data every web server needs to deliver a page.

Controller

Saimen Bearth, Basel, Switzerland · saimen@bearth.io

What data is collected

  • Email signal: your email address and which form you used — only when you actively subscribe.
  • Contact form: name, email address and the content of your message.
  • Server logs: IP address, timestamp and requested resource at the hosting provider, as technically required; this data is not merged into profiles.

Where data is processed

  • Form delivery: Formspree Inc. (USA), based on the Swiss–U.S. / EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Hosting: static hosting delivered via CDN; server logs remain with the hosting provider.
  • Payments: purchases run entirely through Gumroad Inc. (independent controller). bearth.io receives no payment data.
  • Fonts: Google Fonts is loaded from Google servers on page load; your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process.
  • External platforms: links to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Gumroad lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies.

Purpose and legal basis

Email addresses are used exclusively to deliver BEARTH SIGNAL or the requested waitlist notification (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Contact requests are processed to answer the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Addresses are never sold or passed to third parties for advertising.

Your rights

You can request information about your stored data, demand correction or deletion, and withdraw consent at any time — via one-click unsubscribe in every email or informally to saimen@bearth.io. EU residents additionally have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Switzerland the FDPIC is competent.
